SEME: Double Twist Easel Card

Hallo, heute habe ich für euch eine sogenannte Double Twist Easel Card.

Ihr benötigt dafür:
- 1 Stück Cordstock 21 x 21 cm
- 2 Stück Designpapier 10,5 x 10,5 cm
- 1 Stück Designpapier 20,5 x 10 cm

Hi, today I have a double twist easel card for you.

You will need_
- 1 piece of yardstick 21x21 cm
- 2 pieces of designer series paper 10,5 x 10,5 cm
- 1 piece of designer series paper 20,5 x 10 cm

Zuerst nehmt ihr das 21cm Cardstock Stück und falzt es in der Mitte.
Dann schneidet ihr ein Teil in der Mitte bis zur Falz ein.
Von dem oberen Punkt des Schnittes nach außen falzt ihr die beiden Teile wie auf dem Bild zu sehen.

First you take the 21cm yardstick and fold it in half.
Then you cut one of the sides in half up to the fold line.
Then you fold the sides from the cut to the outside as you can see on the picture.

Die beiden Falzstücke sollten nun nach innen hin zeigen wie auf dem Bild zu sehen.
Als nächstes klebt ihr die beiden 10,5 cm Cardstockstücke auf den geschnittenen Seiten auf, dabei gebt ihr nur auf den unteren Teil Kleber, ich habe euch eine weiße Markierung gemacht, genau so auf der anderen Seite, dort klebt bereits mein Designpapier.
Unten links seht ihr dann, wie es beim aufklappen aussehen sollte.
Als nächstes klebt ihr auf das nicht geschnittene Teil euren Cardstock in 20,5 x 10 cm.

The two fold lines should face inwards as you can see on the foot.
Next you glue the 10,5 cm yardstick pieces on the cute side but only add glue to the inner folded part which I marked with a white cross on the picture. You do this on both sides.
As you can see on the picture lower left corner this is how it will look like when folded.
Now you glue the 20,5 x 10 cm designer paper to the lower uncut piece.

So sieht die Karte nun aus.

This is what the card looks right now.

Nun geht es ans dekorieren.
Hierbei ist ganz wichtig, daß die beiden Dekostücke nach innen zeigend aufgeklebt werden.

Now let´s start decorating.
It is super important that the two decoration pieces face inwards.

Denn nur dann stehen sie aufrecht, wenn die Karte aufgeklappt ist.
Ich habe als Aussteller Knöpfe benutzt, ihr könnt natürlich auch Ribbon oder was auch immer benutzen.

Only this way you make sure that the pieces stand upright when the card is folded out.
I used buttons to hold the pieces upright, you can also use ribbon or anything else you like.
